History: Chris & Jen Torsleff founded Stay Montana in 2016, bringing over 60 years of combined hospitality and resort property management experience working and learning from great companies like Vail Resorts, Ritz Carlton, Hilton, & Marriott. They are proud to have started in bellman and busser positions and worked their way to key leadership roles in some of the most respected companies in the industry. Chris & Jen are located in our Bozeman office. Stop by and say hi! In 2022, we became employee-owned with David Moore and Laura Dwight joining our local ownership team. Over the last years, they have proven their leadership and worked extremely hard, thus we are thrilled to add them. David and Laura live in the Flathead Valley with their respective families and young children. David has been part of the Stay Montana family for 6+ years and is our Regional General Manager with a wealth of exceptional hospitality experience. Laura is our Director of Marketing, has been with Stay Montana for 3+ years and brings 15+ years of hospitality marketing experience, plus an MBA with a specialization in Marketing.
Local: We have 4 offices in Big Sky, Bozeman, Whitefish and Bigfork. Our friendly team has deep roots in Montana with our founders managing Montana properties for over 20 years, raising their family here, and enjoying the countless outdoor activities Montana has to offer. We live here, we love it and we love to share it with you!

As property owners in Big Sky, Montana since the early 1990’s my family has seen the market change dramatically. We had been with another management company for most of this time and it was getting worse each year. We made the change to Stay Montana two years ago and what a difference! Now, our property is well-maintained, they are incredibly responsive and the value is incomparable to all Big Sky competition. We highly recommend them for both owners and property renters!!

Stay Montana has been handling my condo in Bigfork, MT for 2 years. I am extremely happy with the job they do. My unit is well maintained which is very important to me. The cash flow is fantastic! They communicate with me on everything that is happening with my unit. I couldn't be happier!

We started working with Amber and Stay Montana in March. As vacation rental owners from out of state, I can't say enough good things about them. They have made the process of renting our home so easy. Amber is super responsive, the services they provide are top notch. We don't have any concerns when we're not there because we know they are on top of it. Well worth the money!
