In 2008 , we began with a single property nestled in the idyllic mountainside of Stockbridge, Vermont. Over time, we realized that travelers were craving well-marketed, amenity-packed escapes to the serene region, igniting a journey of growth that has transformed us into the leading vacation rental company we are today. With an extensive background and marketing, our founder breathed new life into the sector, introducing exceptional photographic showcases and immersive property descriptions that captured the allure of Vermont’s stunning foliage, exhilarating ski slopes, and adventure-filled summers. Following initial success, we expanded by acquiring a condo at the base of the beloved Killington Mountain, and from there, our vision grew bolder. In 2011 , GetAway Vacations officially launched, leveraging proven marketing and management strategies to optimize rental revenue for fellow property owners. With an initial portfolio of seven properties, GetAway Vacations carved a unique path within the Vermont market, fostering a reputation for delivering personalized care and exceptional service to both owners and guests. Our continuous quest for excellence saw us achieve a significant milestone in 2021 with the acquisition of a well-established Vacation Rental Company in Southern Maine. This strategic move broadened the geographic reach and injected more diverse properties into our rental program.
