But it’s also a haven for outdoor adventurers, with beautiful rolling hills, hiking trails, river activities and waterfalls, and a great central location for exploring the coast, cities, and stunning wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. 

That’s why Megan Carda, Founder of Lifestyle Properties, is proud to call the Willamette Valley home. 

Lifestyle Properties 

Born and raised in the Willamette Valley, Megan Carda has always loved her hometown. With a passion for hospitality, she left home to pursue a degree in Hospitality Management and develop her guest service skills at some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts on the West Coast. But once the Willamette Valley began embracing wine country tourism, Megan saw it as her opportunity to return home and combine her love of the Willamette Valley with her passion for hospitality.

Lifestyle Properties began in 2013 when Megan and her parents transformed their basement into a vacation rental. Not long after the idea sparked, Megan discovered her intuition about the need for more lodging in the area was spot-on, as several homeowners approached her to manage their properties. The business grew organically from there, and ten years later, Megan’s team manages around 75 properties in the Willamette Valley.

Everything Megan and her team do is done from a place of genuine care. They’re mindful of their impact on their neighbors and the community, actively participate on travel boards and attend city council meetings, set standards for their in-house maintenance, housekeeping, guest services team, and laundry services that rival luxury hotels, and are always intentional and intuitive about anticipating guest needs.

They’ve thought of everything – from yard game rentals to dinner shuttles, from a pre-build fire pit to in-house massage.
